Softball Recap: Pyramid Lake Comes Up Short

Pyramid Lake and Wells squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Pyramid Lake had to settle for second. They fell 7-2 to the Leopards. That makes it the first time this season the Lakers have let down their home crowd.

Pyramid Lake's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Wells, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-7 record this season.

While Pyramid Lake had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
