Basketball Recap: Midland Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Midland Classical Academy suffered their biggest defeat since January 28th on Friday. They lost 55-31 to the Littlefield Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 41-36 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Midland Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Littlefield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Midland Classical Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Andrews at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Littlefield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shallowater at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Wildcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
