Volleyball Recap: Two Rivers Starts Season with Win on the Road

Two Rivers had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Sheboygan North Golden Raiders on Tuesday. The Purple Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Raiders, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 18-25, 25-21, 25-12.

Natalie Weier was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 15 digs. Those 15 digs gave her a new career-high.

Two Rivers and Sheboygan North will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Purple Raiders see the court they'll take on Chilton at 7:00 p.m. on September 9. As for Sheboygan North, their break will end when they face Green Bay Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on September 9.
