Soccer Game Preview: Cheney vs. Mt. Spokane

The Cheney Blackhawks will head out on the road to face off against the Mt. Spokane Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Cheney's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Cheney's offense. They came up short against Central Valley on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Mt. Spokane was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of Ridgeline by a score of 1-0.

Mt. Spokane's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for Cheney, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Cheney might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Mt. Spokane when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Cheney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
