Basketball Recap: Indian Springs Skates Past Pacific with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Indian Springs over Pacific in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Indian Springs COYOTES blew the Pacific Pirates out of the water with a 78-31 final score. The COYOTES pushed the score to 65-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pirates had no chance of recovering from.

When it comes to explaining why Pacific lost, don't look at Maurice Fitzgerald. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 22 rebounds. Fitzgerald is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Douglas Perez, who posted four points and seven assists.

Indian Springs is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Pacific, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-18.
