Baseball Recap: Valley City Comes Up Short

Valley City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the Sheyenne Mustangs. The Hi-Liners were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Valley City's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Sheyenne, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

While Valley City had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
