Football Game Preview: Greenville vs. McCloud

On Friday Greenville take on McCloud at 7:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Greenville and McCloud will really light up the scoreboard.

Greenville got themselves on the board against Mercy last Saturday, but Mercy never followed suit. Greenville took the contest and then some with a 46-0 win over Mercy. Among those leading the charge for Greenville was senior Tristin Clark, who rushed for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns. Clark has been a consistent playmaker for Greenville as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, McCloud put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Herlong as the squad secured a 54-8 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-0.

Their wins bumped Greenville to 5-2 and McCloud to 5-1. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
