Baseball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the Montgomery Central Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 two weeks ago.

Fairview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Pronk, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Pronk also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Fairview's record is now 7-10. As for Montgomery Central, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-13 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will head out to challenge Camden Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Northeast at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
