Moriah has gone a perfect 5-0 against Chazy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Vikings will welcome the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Moriah has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Moriah is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 27, 2024 on Friday. They lost 15-2 to Saranac. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Moriah saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Mascarenas, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Chazy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over Lake Placid.

Elijah Valentin made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over four innings pitched. Valentin was also big at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Novak Jarus, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Jarus is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season. Jacoby Weeden was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and four RBI.

Moriah now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Chazy, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Moriah beat Chazy 11-6 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
