Volleyball Recap: Walton Comes Up Short

Walton lost against Liberty County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Braves came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 25-15.

Mackenzie Walker was the offensive standout of the game as she had 17 assists and six digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Walton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Liberty County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Walton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Pensacola Area Homeschool on the 28th. As for Liberty County, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Maclay on the 26th.
