Texas High School Coaches Association announce a 6 Year Partnership with MaxPreps to Create a Unified Sports Information Platform for Texas High Schools
The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) have announced an agreement with MaxPreps, the online high school sports leader, that will enable the THSCA to provide a single sports information platform to all member coaches. MaxPreps will offer a publishing platform across desktop, tablet and mobile that will streamline the process of managing sports information from THSCA member coaches, covering over 100,000 Texas games during the school-year.
The agreement enables all box score information published on MaxPreps.com to be automatically provided to the THSCA for use in managing various initiatives. The THSCA initiatives will include statewide statistical leaderboards, live scoreboard, playoff brackets, team rankings, and promoting THSCA membership. Additionally, all game results and complete team information will be published on MaxPreps for Texas high school sports fans and statewide media.
Beginning in the 2016-17 school year, all THSCA member coaches must submit their scores and statistics to MaxPreps in order to accurately manage these initiatives and provide equitable coverage.
