Baseball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pawhuska Huskies. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pawhuska, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cleveland beat Pawhuska by a score of 11-10 later that day.
