Softball Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

Crestwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the Berkshire Badgers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 12-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Crestwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Harper, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Keli Lee also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Berkshire, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestwood will head out to challenge St. Martin de Porres at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berkshire, they will venture away from home to square off against Kirtland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
