Basketball Recap: Otsego's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

Otsego won the last time they faced Niles and things went their way on Friday too. The Otsego Bulldogs came out on top against the Niles Vikings by a score of 45-37. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Vikings are ranked 380th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Otsego and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Niles, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Otsego will head out to take on Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Niles, they will face off against Berrien Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
