Baseball Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Cookeville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 6-4 on Sunday. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost five in a row.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for Cookeville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.

Lebanon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cookeville, they will host Wilson Central at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
