Lincoln was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They had just enough and edged the Washington Eagles out 2-1. The result kept the Mustangs happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 9th.

Jayden Kim and Eliseo Lopez scored both of Lincoln's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

The win got Lincoln back to even at 4-4-4. As for Washington, they now have a losing record at 5-6-2.

Looking ahead, Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against Marshall at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
