Baseball Recap: Shannon Takes a Loss

Shannon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 14-2 to the Tishomingo County Braves. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to the Braves when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Shannon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Judon Harris, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Harris also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Shannon's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Tishomingo County, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tishomingo County beat Shannon by a score of 15-0 on Friday.
