Soccer Recap: Fort Payne Takes a Loss

Fort Payne's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 4-1 to the Southside Panthers. Fort Payne just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Hayden Chambers, who's now up to eight this season.

Fort Payne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-2. As for Southside, they pushed their record up to 16-2-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Fort Payne will square off against Oak Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Oak Mountain will roll in looking for their 22nd straight victory, something Fort Payne surely won't give up without a fight. As for Southside, they will venture away from home to take on Susan Moore at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
