Basketball Recap: Lakeville South Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lakeville South duked it out withEagan on Friday. The Lakeville South Cougars fell just short of the Eagan Wildcats by a score of 77-74. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (70), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Lakeville South and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Eagan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Lakeville South will venture away from home to challenge Farmington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagan, they will welcome Apple Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Apple Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 matchups -- so hopefully Eagan likes a good challenge.
