Soccer Recap: Mattamuskeet Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mattamuskeet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Gates County Red Barons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Gates County this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 last Wednesday.

Mattamuskeet's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Gates County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Mattamuskeet will be playing in front of their home fans against The Oakwood School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gates County, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Ridgecroft on the 4th.
