Volleyball Recap: Hubbard Eagles vs. South Range Raiders
After flying high against East on Monday, Hubbard came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the South Range Raiders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since October 1, 2024.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-18.
Hubbard lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sarah Brand, who had 17 digs. Another player making a difference was Emma TEtrick, who had nine digs.
Leading South Range to victory were Haylie John and Ali Irons. John had eight digs and two assists, while Irons had seven digs and three assists. Those three assists gave Irons a new career-high.
