Baseball Recap: Central Eagles vs. North Central Knights
Central posted their closest win since March 24th on Tuesday. They skirted past the North Central Knights 5-3. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Colton Threatt made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Threatt wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Tomberlin, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Central's record now sits at 13-9. As for North Central, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-18.
Coming up, North Central will be playing in front of their home fans against American Leadership Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
