Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Comes Up Short

St. Mary was the 82-68 winner over Wabasso when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Mary's Knights took a 78-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wabasso Rabbits on Tuesday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Mary's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Wabasso, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

St. Mary's will be home for the holidays to greet Lester Prairie at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Lester Prairie's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Wabasso and New Ulm Cathedral will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
