Baseball Recap: Temple Finds Home Field Redemption Against Healdton

There's no place like home for Temple, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 10-2 margin over the Healdton Bulldogs on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The team relied heavily on Nathan Henning, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. Shaiden Mallow was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

The win got Temple back to even at 1-1. As for Healdton, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Temple will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Thackerville at 3:00 p.m. on March 24th. Healdton also won't see the field for a while: their next contest is against Bray-Doyle at 4:00 p.m. on March 24th. Healdton is facing Bray-Doyle at the right time seeing as Bray-Doyle is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
