Baseball Game Preview: Prosser Falcons vs. Foreman Hornets

The Prosser Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Foreman Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Prosser will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Prosser is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Intrinsic with a sharp 23-5 win on Thursday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by ten runs or more this season.

Jeremy Del Rio was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. He is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Julian Cebrero, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Prosser was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .476. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

Foreman played against Kelvyn Park on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

The victory got Prosser back to even at 3-3. As for Foreman, their record now sits at 1-0.
