Volleyball Recap: Caldwell Comes Up Short

Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Argonia Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat last Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11.

Kennedy Lowery paced Caldwell's offense, picking up seven kills. Lowery got some help from Ava Newell and her 12 assists.

Caldwell's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Argonia, their victory was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 31-1.

Caldwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against South Haven on the 7th. As for Argonia, they will face off against Sedan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
