Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Wisner-Pilger by a score of 61-59. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family has suffered yet this season.

Wisner-Pilger got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emerson Bellar out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bellar has scored all season. Nevaeh Brown was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Wisner-Pilger, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family will be playing at home against Madison on Thursday. Hopefully Madison focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Saturday. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will head out on the road to take on Pender on Thursday. Pender is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
