Ryan Meredith Turns in Season-Best Effort

North Miami was led to victory by Ryan Meredith, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Meredith rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 56 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Caston's probably not too fond of Benson given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Benson saw the Comets), he rushed for 208 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Big Game from Wilcox As North Judson-San Pierre Won 69-3

North Judson-San Pierre picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kole Wilcox. Wilcox turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 139 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 55 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Caston had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Wilcox it was a similar story. When Wilcox last faced the Comets back in August of 2023, he rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Pioneer Gets a Boost from Rans in 28-21 Defeat

While Micah Rans delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Pioneer. Despite the loss, Rans was still balling out as he rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 59 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 83 yards.

The defeat snapped Pioneer's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record. Rans and Pioneer will face off against North Judson-San Pierre at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lake Musall's Big Game Leads North Miami over Culver Community

Another North Miami player making an appearance on this list is Lake Musall. He rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass.
