Softball Recap: Brevard Takes a Loss

Brevard managed to slip by Pisgah the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Devils came up short against the Bears on Wednesday, falling 10-1. The game marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Brevard has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season. As for Pisgah, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Brevard is taking a road trip to challenge Polk County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pisgah, they will welcome Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bears 2.4, the Panthers 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
