Basketball Recap: Lyle/Pacelli Takes a Loss

Lyle/Pacelli was the 72-48 winner over Lanesboro when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics and the Lanesboro Burros didn't end well, with the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics falling 64-48.

Lyle/Pacelli dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Lanesboro, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-3.

Lyle/Pacelli will head out to square off against Hayfield at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lyle/Pacelli is facing Hayfield at the right time seeing as Hayfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lanesboro, they will welcome Rochester Math and Science Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
