Arroyo (8-0) takes on Marshall (1-6) this Thursday at 11:00 PM. Marshall will have its work cut out for it since Arroyo boasts a defense that has allowed an average of only 8.12 points per game.
Arroyo can now show off five landslide victories after its game last week. It kept its opponent El Monte off the scoreboard entirely last week, winning the match 33 - 0. Senior Rey Cotero had a nice 143-yard receiving performance that was surely well-received by fans.
Meanwhile, Mountain View delivered Marshall a harsh 70 - 0 defeat last week. Things were already looking bleak at the break as Marshall was down 48 - 0.
The last time they met, Arroyo really took it to Marshall, winning 41 - 0. Arroyo was able to move the ball a lot more (366 yards compared to 177 yards), a gap Marshall will be looking to close this time around.
