Football Recap: Logan Moss and Andrew Wallace Pace Cabrillo Defense + How To Watch

If East Bakersfield wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Cabrillo, they should've done a better job of containing Andre Brisco. The Conquistadores took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-12 victory over the Blades for which the team can thank Brisco, who rushed for 141 yards and two scores on only ten carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 76 yards.

Another player making a difference was Andrew Wallace, who rushed for 46 yards and a pair of TDs. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing one fumble and making five total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

Cabrillo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Logan Moss and Wallace.

Cabrillo has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 26 points this season. As for East Bakersfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Cabrillo will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lompoc at 4:00 p.m. on September 13. As for East Bakersfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
