Soccer Recap: Mullins Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Mullins was not quite Manning's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 2-1. Mullins just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Jicere Foxworth, which was the first he's scored this season.

Mullins' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Manning, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-5.

While Mullins had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
