Basketball Recap: Burns Broncs vs. Sundance Bulldogs
Burns was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 38-30 to the Sundance Bulldogs. The Broncs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.
Several Broncs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Myla Medley, who posted six points and six rebounds. Jordan Bolejack was another key player, putting up three points.
It was another big night for Jaylin Mills, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards for Sundance. Sundance is 6-2 when Mills posts eight or more rebounds, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Karol, who had four points and seven rebounds.
Burns' loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Sundance, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
