Elkhart Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the LaVille Lancers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Elkhart Christian Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-8.

Ruthie Reimer paced Elkhart Christian Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Reimer got some help from Kiara Trovatore and her ten assists. Mia Hibbard controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

LaVille's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Elkhart Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against West Noble on the 21st. As for LaVille, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Argos on the 20th.
