Soccer Game Preview: Gering vs. Scottsbluff

Gering is 0-10 against Scottsbluff since April of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Gering lost 6-3 to Campbell County on Friday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Gering were already down 4-1.

Jacelyn Brown and Hope Mitchell scored all three of Gering's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, Scottsbluff came up short against Thunder Basin on Saturday, falling 6-1.

Gering's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Scottsbluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Gering couldn't quite get it done against Scottsbluff when the teams last played back in April of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
