Volleyball Recap: Fallbrook Comes Up Short

Fallbrook's tournament run continued when they took on Windward on Friday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Taylor Thomas paced Fallbrook's offense, picking up seven kills. Thomas got some help from Stella Grubaugh and her 16 assists. Grubaugh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Fallbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Windward, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Fallbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rancho Bernardo on the 10th. As for Windward, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Calexico on the 10th.
