 Sutter put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Marysville Indians as the Sutter Huskies made off with  a  12-2 win. The result was nothing new for Sutter, who have now won four games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
  Rylan Giovannoni made a big impact no matter where he played. He  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits. Giovannoni has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Giovannoni was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-5 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other pitching news,  Andrew Brumley looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also only allowed one  walk).
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Brady Wickum, who  fired off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-3.  Carson Bishop was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 On Marysville's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Noah Criddle, who  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with a  double.
 Sutter's victory was  their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.2 runs per game. As for Marysville, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-6.
 Sutter will head out on the road to  take on  Nevada Union at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Sutter's pitching crew has only allowed two  runs per game  this season, so Nevada Union's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Marysville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Juan at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Marysville has given up an average of 9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
