Football Recap: Tehillah Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Tehillah Christian Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Mojave Mustangs 56-6. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-6.

Ezra Contreras threw for 29 yards on four of seven attempts. On the ground, Angel Puerto rushed for 31 yards.

Jordan Davis was a one-man wrecking crew For Mojave. as he rushed for 64 yards and three scores on only nine carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Chillis, who rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown.

This is the second loss in a row for Tehillah Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tehillah Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kings Christian at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Mojave, they will head out to face off against Immanuel Christian at 7:30 p.m. on the 6th. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
