Volleyball Game Preview: Walsh Eagles vs. Eads Eagles

Walsh will venture away from home to square off against Eads at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Walsh has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 23.

Walsh came up short against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Walsh ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Eads got the win against Holly on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Eads won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22, 25-12.

Walsh's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Eads, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Walsh might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Eads when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can Walsh avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
