Softball Recap: Rehoboth Christian Snaps 13-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Rehoboth Christian was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Zuni last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Rehoboth Christian came up short against the Loving Falcons on Saturday, falling 14-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lynx of the 16-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2021.

Rehoboth Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylen Esalio, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that Esalio hit this season.

Rehoboth Christian's defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3. As for Loving, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rehoboth Christian beat Loving by a score of 10-4 later that day.
