Baseball Recap: St. Augustine Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. Augustine's offense. They came up short against the John Curtis Christian Patriots on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Purple Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

St. Augustine's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for John Curtis Christian, they pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, St. Augustine will welcome Slidell at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. John Curtis Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Purple Knights' contest: after the Purple Knights face off against the Tigers, they'll take on John Curtis Christian again at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
