Soccer Recap: Turner Comes Up Short

Turner lost against Wakeland back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Turner Lions fell just short of the Wakeland Wolverines by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Wolverines are ranked ninth).

Turner's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-4. As for Wakeland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1-2.

As of now, neither Turner nor Wakeland have any future games scheduled.
