Basketball Recap: Washington Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Washington had won two straight games and Anyalisa Carino did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Rams came out on top against the Glendale Cardinals by a score of 62-51 for which the team can thank Carino, who posted 28 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Otiho, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds. She also grabbed three steals, which is notable because Washington is undefeated when she posts at least three steals, but 7-11 otherwise.

Washington's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Glendale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
