Basketball Recap: Jones Christian Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Central Christian

Jones Christian Academy scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a hard 58-42 fall against the Central Christian Saints. The defeat continues a trend for the Warrior in their matchups with the Saints: they've now lost nine in a row.

It was another big night for Ayden Lippincott, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists for Central Christian. What's more, Lippincott also posted three blocks, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Morgan Hayek, who went 5-for-7 en route to 12 points and five boards.

Jones Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Central Christian, they pushed their record up to 21-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Jones Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 42-37 defeat against Pensacola Christian Academy on the 15th.
