Basketball Recap: Algonac Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Algonac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Yale Bulldogs and fell 67-18. While losing is never fun, the Muskrats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 686th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 112th).

Algonac's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Yale, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Looking ahead, Algonac will welcome Croswell-Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Muskrats will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups. As for Yale, they will head out on the road to square off against Imlay City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
