Football Recap: Gold-Burg Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gold-Burg can now relate to. They took a blow against the Strawn Greyhounds on Friday, falling 78-12. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Greyhounds from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Gold-Burg and nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Strawn, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

As of now, neither Gold-Burg nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
