Lac Courte Oreilles scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 67-49 to the Birchwood Bobcats. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2021.

Lac Courte Oreilles has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Birchwood, their victory ended an 18-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-13.

Lac Courte Oreilles is taking a road trip to challenge Mellen at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Birchwood, they will host Clayton at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Clayton will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Birchwood surely won't give up without a fight.
