Volleyball Recap: Bethany Community Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Bethany Community suffered their biggest defeat since August 28th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Emery Jones, who had five digs and two aces.

Bethany Community's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8. As for Cornerstone Charter, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Coming up, Bethany Community will square off against Triad Math and Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cornerstone Charter, they will host Page at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
