Baseball Recap: Lincolnton Comes Up Short

In Tuesday's Canine Competition, Lincolnton didn't have enough. They lost 13-0 to the Burns Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Wolves' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it seven in a row dating back to last season.

Lincolnton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Burns, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Burns will head out on the road to take on Draughn at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincolnton will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' contest: after the Bulldogs face off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Lincolnton again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
